MOQO and Cleopa sign Letter of Intent to join the Smart MaaS Marketplace
Smart MaaS is taking further steps in creating a mobility ecosystem by building an exemplary marketplace, where innovative mobility services are clustered and linked to new market-driven services. Cleopa GmbH, the consortium leader of the Smart MaaS project, has signed a letter of intent with Moqo, a SaaS provider for shared mobility services.
The Smart Maas service marketplace is a platform where registered mobility providers can gain access to new customers and present their own services in an innovative way. New B2B customers can therefore find, book and pay for mobility services. The access to the marketplace is free of any charge. Powered by FIWARE, the open source concept behind the project ensures an easy technical integration, using secure and standardized service modules.
“As part of the ecosystem we are building with Smart MaaS, we create with the marketplace a service platform where mobility providers can tap into new ways of expanding their business. We are very excited to have signed a letter of intent with MOQO, a strong partner for shared mobility and we are looking forward to our future collaboration”, said Detlef Olschewski, the managing director at Cleopa GmbH.
MOQO is a cloud-based mobility platform that enables everyone to deliver shared mobility services, by supporting diverse business models. Using superior cloud technology, MOQO has an open platform structure and supports integration of third-party services.
Smart MaaS is currently in negotiation with a number of other companies to join the marketplace and help build the future of open mobility. The subsidized project Smart MaaS is part of the technology program “Smart Service World II”, which is funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi).
